PRIVACY AND DATA PROTECTION ACT

Article 1

Introduction and Applicability

WORLD BEST BRANDS DOO, Company ID 21436950, with a registered address at VOJVODJANSKA 361A, 11077 Belgrade-Surcin (hereinafter referred to as “WBB”), as the controller of personal data, ensures that personal data entered by individuals, i.e., data subjects (hereinafter referred to as “Users”) through the WBB website at www.worldbestbrands.net (hereinafter referred to as “WBB Website”) is processed in accordance with the legal standards prescribed by the Law on Personal Data Protection (“Official Gazette RS,” No. 87 of November 13, 2018, hereinafter referred to as “LPDP”). For this purpose, WBB has undertaken necessary measures and actions in compliance with LPDP to protect and secure the privacy of submitted personal data, which will be further described in this Act.

LPDP sets the same data privacy standards as REGULATION (EU) 2016/679 OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL of April 27, 2016, on the protection of natural persons regarding the processing of personal data and the free movement of such data, thus providing the same level of personal data protection.

Article 2

Personal Data Processed

Regarding the use of the WBB Website, WBB processes the following personal data entered by the data subject via the contact form:

  • Identification data: Name, surname, phone number, and email address (hereinafter referred to as “personal data”).

Article 3

Lawfulness of Processing

Users’ personal data is processed with their explicit consent. It is considered that the User has given consent by entering data and submitting it via the contact form.

If the User’s consent is provided in the context of a written statement concerning other matters, the request for consent will be presented in a manner distinguishable from other matters, in an easily accessible form, in clear and plain language.

In addition to processing based on consent, WBB may process personal data if one of the following legal grounds is met:

  • If processing is necessary for the execution of a contract concluded with the User or to undertake actions before the conclusion of a contract;
  • If processing is necessary to comply with WBB’s legal obligations;
  • Processing is necessary to achieve WBB’s or a third party’s legitimate interests.

Cases of Personal Data Processing

Users of the WBB Website provide their personal data by entering it into the contact form available on the WBB Website.

Article 5

Purpose of Personal Data Processing

WBB processes Users’ personal data solely for business communication purposes, particularly to establish and maintain contact with individuals interested in a specific type of service provided by WBB. These services may specifically (but not exclusively) pertain to inquiries about one of WBB’s services, sharing client feedback on provided services, or inquiries about a particular topic of interest related to WBB’s operations.

WBB may also process personal data for marketing purposes, i.e., for sending promotional materials and offers.

Communication with Users includes (but is not limited to) two-way correspondence with individuals referred to in paragraph 1 of this Article, primarily related to business operations and cooperation they wish to establish or have established with WBB, as well as informing these individuals of their rights under LPDP.

Persons who have agreed to allow WBB to contact them regarding a particular form of business cooperation or other cases described in this Act may withdraw their consent at any time, resulting in the cessation of personal data processing concerning the data subjects.

Withdrawal of consent will not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal. Consent can be withdrawn by sending a cancellation request to the email import@wbb.co.rs.

​Rights of Data Subjects

Article 6

Data subjects have the right to transparency, primarily the right to be provided, in a concise, transparent, understandable, and easily accessible way, all information related to the exercise of their rights under LPDP and GDPR in simple language. This information will be provided in writing or other forms, including electronic means, if necessary. Upon the request of the data subjects, the information can be provided orally.

Article 7

WBB aims to ensure that you are fully aware of all your data protection rights. Accordingly, each User has the following rights:

  • Right of Access – You have the right to request copies of your personal data from WBB. We may charge a small fee for this service.
  • Right to Rectification – You have the right to request WBB to correct any information you believe is inaccurate. You also have the right to request WBB to complete information you believe is incomplete.
  • Right to Deletion – You have the right to request WBB to delete your personal data under certain conditions.
  • Right to Restriction of Processing – You have the right to request WBB to restrict the processing of your personal data under certain conditions.
  • Right to Object to Processing – You have the right to object to WBB processing your personal data under certain conditions.
  • Right to Data Portability – You have the right to request WBB to transfer the data we have collected to another organization or directly to you under certain conditions.

If you believe your rights regarding personal data protection have been violated, you have the right to file a complaint with the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection.

Article 8

Recipients of Personal Data

The personal data referred to in Article 2 of this Act will not be disclosed to anyone outside WBB and its affiliates. Access to this information will be granted only to individuals responsible for responding to inquiries submitted through the WBB Website and individuals involved in deciding on how to address those inquiries.

Access to your data may also be granted to collaborators engaged in providing specific services (e.g., courier services, IT system maintenance, marketing services, accounting services, legal services). Collaborators process your personal data solely based on a concluded contract and in accordance with our instructions.

We may also disclose your data to competent authorities if we are obliged to disclose such data or to protect our legitimate interests and exercise legal claims.

WBB does not intend to transfer your data outside the Republic of Serbia.

Article 9

Data Security

WBB protects Users’ information during communication by using encryption (SSL).

Users’ personal data is retained for the purpose of fulfilling its processing purpose as specified in Article 5 of this Act, as long as there is a need for communication with Users or within the deadlines determined by applicable regulations. Upon the expiration of the retention period, personal data will be deleted. WBB may contact you to request explicit consent to consider your request as removed and, therefore, authorized for the deletion of your personal data.

Article 10

Cookies

Cookies are text files loaded onto the computer of the person visiting the WBB Website to collect standard login/arrival information and behavior during the visit to the WBB Website, which may be sent to the web browser used by that person. WBB may collect/process this information automatically through cookies or similar technologies. For more information about cookies, visit allaboutcookies.org.

Users concerned about privacy and the use of cookies can set their internet browser to notify them when they receive a cookie and reject cookies attempted to be sent by third-party websites. Furthermore, if WBB uses cookies, you will have the option to provide your consent (opt-in) for enabling necessary cookies upon visiting the WBB Website, and you can revoke this consent (opt-out) at any time.

Your use of the WBB Website is not conditional on your consent to the use of cookies.

External Links

The WBB Website may contain external links pointing to other websites. The provisions of this Privacy and Personal Data Protection Act apply only to the WBB Website, and WBB assumes no responsibility for the privacy policies of other websites.

​We note that WBB, to the greatest extent, cannot influence the processing performed by the operators of social media platforms.

Article 12

Final Provisions

The provisions of this Act apply from the eighth day following their publication on the WBB Website.

WBB reserves the exclusive right to unilaterally amend and supplement this Act and to publish the amended Act in the manner described in paragraph 1 of this Article.​
